Where Has The Time Gone?

My sweet baby girl, in a few weeks you will be one year old and I just cannot believe it.  The last few months have been challenging for us with Mommy getting a new job, but it has given you so much precious time to spend with your Nana, Papa, Aunt, and Daddy that it has been priceless.  In the last few months you continued to entertain (and challenge) us with your big personality.  You definitely know what you want and have no problem letting us know.  You continue to adore your brother and your doggie.  Singing is something you absolutely love doing.  We have rock-n-roll singing contests where we all take turns making up a rock-n-roll song and when it is your song, you sing, "Ba, ba, ba...," it is just too cute.

Your curiosity and nosiness continue as you have to see anything and everything going on and you love getting into EVERYTHING and more importantly, destroying it.  You are a force to be reckoned with.  You aren't a big snuggler (which makes me sad), but in the last few weeks you have come around a bit with snuggling with me before bed.  I think the longest snuggling session we had maxed out at 30 seconds.  You love being upside-down and throwing yourself backwards (which scares the dickens out of anyone holding you when you decide to spontaneously do a "Mary Katherine Ghallagher").  You recently started oooo-ing and awww-ing at things.  You will look up at the sky and say, "Oh.  Oooo."

You are a very sturdy girl on two feet, but the world of walking isn't quite your cup of tea, yet.  You have taken a few stiff-legged steps, but then decide that it would be much faster for you to crawl to get what you want (which is usually something of your brother's).  Your life motto right now is, "Eat big, play hard, and sleep hard."  You are so easy to feed because you eat whatever we eat.  In fact, your are down-right offended if people eat around you without sharing, no matter what it is.  You love your naps and you continue to sleep through the night with no problem.  You have brought so much joy into all of our lives.  You are truly our gift from heaven.

Fresh laundry from the dryer is one of your favorite things to play with.

My silly girl

These are some of my favorite videos of you!
